Why I Admire Dale Yudelman:
His photos speak mountains to me. His photos speak of African culture, and whether or not they’re photoshopped, it doesn’t matter, it’s all original content with an original concept. Although some of his photos are tad disturbing…it just shocks me at how honest it is. I definitely have not felt something like this before viewing his work.

Why I Admire Kris Payne:
What first attracted me to his work was actually when I saw a copy of his OKLA book at a cafe in the same building I work in. It was later when I wanted to advance my photography, I was forwarded to him to seek some novice advice. The dude is wicked cool, down-to-earth and takes some amazing shots. I love the range of subject and mediums he is able to work on and makes them all equally enjoyable...

Why I Admire Kawori Inbe:
Her photos have a very unique look on school girls in Japan. What they’re doing when they’re naughty, at home and on the streets. Almost a sort of teen angst feel to her photos. The colors used in her photos are very calm, natural and soft. I will always forever have a soft spot for school girls in uniform, but she takes it to the next level.

Why I Admire Justin Ouellette:
Not only is he the genius behind the website Muxtape, but he also takes captivating photographs. All film. His view on his subjects are quite interesting and the angle at which he captures them are exquisite. He’s constantly updating his website so you can take a look at the interesting places he’s been and enjoy them often.

Why I Admire Nakao Takashi:
He’s a second year student at the Tokyo University Art, majoring in film. He’s the same age as me and he’s already pumping out great projects. Although he may not be primarily focusing on photography, that’s what I like about him. It seems as if he’s not even trying, but his photos prove that he has the eye for it. His photos show a great student life of a Tokyo...

Why I Admire Scott Hardy:
His pals are great models, I think he knows that too, as he frames them almost perfectly; knowing that they’re going to come out great. His photos have a sense of youth and at times restlessness to them. Pictures showing the ups and downs of growing older, but always framing them so damn perfectly.

Why I Admire Keith Davis Young:
He utilizes space and blank space and uses it to his advantage in many ways. His photos seem almost poetic with the absence of people. He seems to capture the remains left by human nature in such a graceful way.

Why I Admire Lucy Johnston:
She is an amazing portrait photographer, although she’s not confined to it, they are simply amazing. Her simplicity in pictures speaks mountains through her pictures. Her photos are at times like she’s a fly on the wall, yet there are moments where it feels like you are in an intimate moment with the subject.

Why I Admire CHIAMATTT:
Living in South Korea, this guy was my mentor; and for the most part he still is. His photography is a great style of street snapping that I admire. He snaps literally hundreds of photos a day while he walks around Seoul. His photos really do capture the essence of Korea that is often overlooked or never even looked at. Not only does he do street photography, but often times he will hang his...

Why I Admire Hasisi Park:
I already have a lot of love for South Korea, as I lived there for a good year; but what’s great about her photography is that it has its own origin. I feel Korea in her images, but I often forget that her pictures are taken there because of her angle on that fantastic city. She also adds in a great fashion sense and creativity into her photos, making it more of an art form.
